O man...time escaped me again! Not doing a whole lot... school, walking, chilling...that is a normal day.
We did have a few cool days...rented a car in Belize City for the day and drove all around and found a neat pool and park Gabby showed us, met a really neat couple from Bremerton on San Pedro for lunch, and went to Caye Caulkers' "drive-in" to see "Silver lining" and "Django" (both REALLY good movies!).
The biggest thing is, Thank Goodness the rain stopped! Everyone kept saying that it was very unusual...it rained for a few minutes every day for a couple weeks, then POURED for 5 straight days! At least it was warm (lol), but we just hated the grey skies!
Next week will be the beginning of a change...I am volunteering for 1-2 hrs on Mon-Thurs at the high school here on Cay Caulker! I will be teaching the girls some hair styles and hair theory, and also helping with internet and typing skills!!!!  I am sooooo excited!

Iguana road kill is like the US squirrell or possum roadkill!

Joshua doing his multiplications on the water taxi!

Isn't this a cool bus at the park?  Hippies built this place!

Gabby and Joshua

Beautiful park

Neat pool

LOL...Gabby on her laptop, Joshua on our laptop and me on the Ipad!

Wow, I didn't realize I hadn't been on in almost 2 weeks!  I need to get in a routine I guess...In the last 2 weeks, not a whole lot has happened, just it rained hard for 5 days straight (ugg, the grey skies about did me in!), we are all adjusting well to Joshuas' schooling (and he is doing really well!), we all got a few bumps and scrapes (all of us have had issues with our left big toes!), and I got a parasite in my feet!!!  YUK!  The pharmacist took one look and said it was very common and gave me some pills and cream...And Daniels' biggest booboo was while trying to save the camera when he slipped, he twisted his wrist really bad...OOOOOO!  Another AND, since Joshua is doing SO well in school, we went to China Town Grocery and bought him a BIKE!  We feel a lot more comfortable here, enough that we just let him ride up and down Front Street...like he could get lost!  LOL!  We also have gotten to know several locals here, so we believe he will be ok...

Here is how I now do laundry!!!

Here is a short tour we took with Charlie...checking out a really pretty lagoon for crocs and lunch on the beach!  Awesome, Charlie!
